A Cumberland Christmas

I had a chance to get downtown to photograph the Christmas lights and decorations. I thought I'd share a few of them.

Airlie Gardens, Wilmington, NC

Since it's so cold in most parts of the country, I thought I'd share a nice "warm" photo that I took at Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, NC back in April. I wish it was that warm now! (Currently, it's 24 with a wind chill of 10--brrrrr!!!!)

Kitty Update

It's been a while since I share a photo of my kitties. They're getting big. Here's a picture of Houdini and Freckles taking it easy:

 

I got scratched really badly by Houdini last night. He got scared when I was holding him and he squirmed to get down. I have two deep scratched that look like someone slashed me with a knife. Ow!!! They are being bad kitties today. They got into things and got into areas they shouldn't have. I'm not happy with them right now. I don't know what I'll find when I get home because they got down into my basement right before I left for work this afternoon and I just left them there with a litter box. Hopefully I won't find a mess when I get home.

Chincoteague, VA and Ocean City, MD

I'm working on a special photo project and wanted to get some photos of the ocean so I took a trip this weekend to the Atlantic Coast.  I stayed overnight in Ocean City, MD and had a beachfront room with a great view of the ocean. I hated to leave! It was a lot of traveling for one weekend but it is worth it even though I'm exhausted.
