This is one of my favorite photos of Niagara Falls that I took when I visited there in 2006. This is the Canadian Falls photographed from the American side. It was in the late afternoon and the sun was shining from behind the mist. I love the effect that it gave.
Hey Margie how are you dong?? I love the photos. Do you know about Etsy? You can sell your Digital pictures on line there. Hope mom and dad are doing well. PJ
ReplyDeleteHey PJ! Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm glad you enjoy my photos. I love sharing them. I have heard of Etsy but haven't done anything with it. I have my own web site for my business but that doesn't get much traffic. I sell my photos locally at an art gallery so I'm making a little money off of them.
DeleteThings are going a little slow with my recovery. I've been a little sore the past few days and it's discouraging. I can't drive yet and I didn't get home to see my parents for Mother's Day. That was the first time that ever happened.
Thanks again for checking in on my blog. I hope you'll continue posting comments! Margie
Great picture but it brings back bad memories. Ten years ago while at Niagara Falls without warning I lost the hearing in my left ear. Next time you go there Margie you should check out Niagara by the lake. It's a beautiful quaint town about 8 to 10 miles from the Falls. This is where they say the falls were a couple hundred years ago.
ReplyDeleteDon, I'm sorry you have bad memories of Niagara Falls. I remember seeing signs for Niagara by the Lake when I was up there. I'll have to go back up there sometime because I really enjoyed it.
DeleteSorry to hear things are going slow. Check out Etsy. 40 plus years ago I went to Niagara falls and we went on the boat ride and in the caves under the falls. We had a great time. Then again i was 8 . ha ha Hope Mom and Dad are doing better or at least no worst. Tornado warnings till 1am tonight 75 and sticky. Well time to feed my dog. Will check in again soon. PJ
DeletePJ, we did the Maid of the Mist ride, caves behind the falls and the aerial car over the gorge. Had a great time even though I was much older than 8! I hope you didn't get any of that nasty weather that hit last night. It sounds like things were pretty crazy in some areas. Take care, Margie
DeleteThat aerial car confused me at first. I thought the ride went from Canada to the states. In fact you never leave Canada. I use to vacation in Canada and at one time I even considered moving there. That was when the exchange rate was 1.60. Today the Canadian dollar is worth more then ours.
