I took a drive last week on a beautiful day. There is some pretty farmland in southern Pennsylvania. This photo is from Bedford County.

Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge

I took a trip to Maryland's Eastern Shore last week and I visited one of my favorite spots--Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. With my 300mm zoom lens I was able to get some halfway decent photos of the bald eagles even though they were hundreds of yards away.

Sideling Hill

I had a chance to get out for some photos today and I thought I'd share one of my favorite views in Western Maryland. This was taken from the west side of Sideling Hill, just off Interstate 68.

After the Storm

I drove through some nasty weather this afternoon on the way home from visiting my mom. I was treated to a spectacular view on top of one of the mountains, however. This photo doesn't do it justice since it was hard to photograph because there was such a wide dynamic range between light and dark. This one came out the best of all that I took.
