I've really been enjoying my Photoshop class that I'm taking online. The last lesson was about brushes and how they work. We created a tie dye using different brushes and then we tie dyed a little lamb! It's a tricky process but it was fun. I'll have to see what other things I can tie dye! Here is how my lamb turned out:

Working with Photoshop
It's been a while since I posted anything so I thought I'd share a photo that I experimented with in Photoshop. Even though I've used Photoshop, I've never had any formal training. So now I'm taking an online Photoshop course and yesterday I learned a technique and I thought I'd try it out on one of my photos. I could have picked an easier photo without all the trees but I think this came out great for a first attempt. This is the courthouse in Cumberland. I made the photo black and white and then I recolored the courthouse. Not too bad for the first time.

A Williamsburg Christmas
I visited Williamsburg, VA with my friend Susanna and her family a few days after Christmas. We went to Christmas Town at Busch Gardens and then Colonial Williamsburg the next day. Busch Gardens was spectacular. We got there in daylight and it was beautiful but things got even more spectacular. Here are just some of the photos I took:
Busch Gardens Christmas Town: (Click on each photo to make them bigger)
A great production called Gloria!
They did a light show with the big Christmas tree outside of the Festhaus that was wonderful. Great music and lights of all colors!
Colonial Williamsburg: (No flashing lights on these but they are still beautiful!)
